Question: Please Help! Anyone! I am in so much pain, and am only 13!!?
For about two months now, I have been having off and on qualms of discomfort in the back of my vagina!. It is a weird fullness/swollen feeling, and it comes and goes weekly, which inclines me to believe that it is hormones that are causing my nerves on the skin to act weirdly!. I am 13 (Bday June 3), and I have not gotten my period yet, though many people (Including doctors) say I am about to!. I have had ultrasounds, urinary tests, and exams, but I can't seem to figure out what is causing this pain!. The only thing I can think of is hormones!. It started out only hurting when I was lying flat, then to sitting down, then to all the time, and it comes and goes!. It has also made me become stressed and moody!.
What could be causing this!? I am an active girl, a runner, so it is not from inactivity!. My grandma and girlscout leader have had this (my girlscout leader for 6 months, my grandma for 2 weeks!.) They said it went away after getting their first period!. More to come, please read!.!.!.!.

Anyway, someone told me that this is the prostacycline in my blood!. If so, will the pain go away after my first period!? Is this prostacycline!? Will I ever get better!? I have had ultrasounds, urine tests, you name it, and the doctors cannot help me!. I have also been cramping and spotting!.
On top of this all, this has made me very distressed and I am crying a lot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont worry! if it was something so completly wrong, the doctors will know and would be doing more tests!. you can ask your mom or an adult to take you to the doctors so you can ask all the questions you want to about it!. if people think that it will go away after your first period hopefully it will!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is normal not to get ur period by the age 13, it just matters on ur body!. My cousin didnt get hers and she had to get a shot to make her start!. That was when she was 16 years old!. Maybe you should go to another doctor or go to a specialist and ask them!. I can reassure you that all girls do not always start at 13 years old!. I wouldnt worry too much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
