Self-breast exam?!

Question: Self-breast exam!?
For starters, I'm a 16 year-old!.
Around here we've been told about self-breast exams since age 12!.

Here's how they tell us to do it:
Stand upright in front of a mirror or even in the shower!.
Put right hand on top of head!.
Use left hand to circle left breast from nipple outwards in a spiral!.
Same goes for right breast!.

But I've read somewhere that says breast tissues are also slightly lumpy!.

How do you tell breast tissues from "extraordinary" lumps!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Most lumps that you should be concerned about are those that are hard and don't "roll" or "move" easily under your fingertips!. Size doesn't play a big part!. If you find anything in your breasts that concerns you, make an appt!. with your doctor; even if it turns out to be "normal" breast lumpiness, it is good to know, as you will know that is typical for you, and it will help you to recognize changes in your breasts if they do occur!.

Good for you for taking charge of your own health!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
