Question: Expired Birth Control!?
What are the risks of taking expired birth control!. They expired 08/2007!. I just realized it and I'm already half way thru with them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Taking ANY medication past its expiration can be dangerous, and that includes birth control!. The expiration date is usually the date when the drug begins to breakdown or otherwise change!. Not only does this lessen the effectiveness of whatever you're taking it also puts you at risk for illness!. Think about expired milk!. There's no way you'd drink it right!? You should have the same attitude toward expired medications!.
Go get a refill of your prescription and before you leave check the expiration date on all of the packs just to be sure you don't have a 4 month supply that all expire in teh next 3 weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probabley throw them out like now and start another pack just don't start over completely it will mess the process up!. On the safe side I'd throw them out!. Expiration dates are there to serve as a guide!. They may lose potency after exp date!.
