Question: Do you HAVE to wait until your period to start BCP!?
I'm planning on starting the pill tomorrow, but my period isn't coming for another week and a half or so!. Do I REALLY have to wait until the Sunday after my period starts to take the pill!? Or can I just start it tomorrow!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't have to wait until the Sunday after your period starts!. You could start taking it tomorrow if you want!. My doctor told me that it was perfectly fine for me to do that!. I think they tell you to do it the Sunday after your period starts so that your period stays "normal"!. If you're fine not having your period until the end of the first pack, then go for it!. There might be a chance of breakthrough bleeding though, since your body may already be preparing itself for your period!.

If you are a regular I would wait!.!.!.!.!.the pill will keep u on that schedule!.!.!.the 3 weeks active pills will not give u a period!.!.!.!.but soon as u take the week of active pills u will come on your period!.!.!.!.!.if u are irregular go ahead and start!.!.!.!.however its easier to start at the beginning of the week!.!.!.its easier to remember!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Technically you start taking the pill the first Sunday after your period ends!. I wouldn't screw around with the pill because you can mess up your cycle and sometimes it's a bugger to get back on track!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
