BMI/Menstruation?!

Question: BMI/Menstruation!?
at what BMI does a woman's body stop menstruating!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Anywhere south of 20 tends to increase your number of anovulatory cycles, and thus, can caused missed periods!. It's not so much BMI as body fat percentage, though!. A female distance runner may have a pretty high or normal BMI due to her muscularity, and still not have periods because she lacks body fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

do you mean when you're skinny!?
mine is 17!.95 and my periods are fine!.
anything under 18!.5 is ''dangerous!.'' but BMI isnt accurate because it will make an athlete who is really fit overweight because of their muscle!.
so i think to have your periods stop you'd have to have a BMI of like 15!? maybe 16!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

under 15 usually!.
Although, BMI is only accuratly in moderatly active people, not people that resistance train, if ypu are overactive it doesnt take into account muscle mass!. With that said over around 35-40 is can also mes upWww@Answer-Health@Com

My BMI 17!.6 (and no i'm not anorexic) and still menstruating completely normally and healthily!. My nurse was quite amazed though!. Anywhere before 17!.5 the body can stop menstruating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
