It appears my period has stopped (I'm not preggers)?!

Question: It appears my period has stopped (I'm not preggers)!?
what do you think it is!? It must be well over a month maybe a month and a half at this stage since my last one!. it isn't usually irregular!. I'm not under any stress

I've been eating plenty, I always eat nuts and try to get my red meat and chicken into my diet!.

I go to the gym and am healthy!. I'm a little overweight, but I wouldn't be obese or malnourished!.

I was thinking that maybe it's because of my insomnia and insane sleeping pattern!.

do you think this could be a cause!?

can anyone think of anything else it could be!?

thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
stress can cause delayed or irregular periods as it can upset your hormone levels

weight can be an issue you say your not obese but have a machine (in most supermarkets etc!.!.) check your BMI and body fat this will tell you if you need to pay attention to your weight or not as weight can also affect your periods

you say you're not pregnant but have a doctor test you to make sure

have your periods been regular in the past or have they been irregular at any time!?

are you taking any medication or suffered any illness recently as these can affect your periods

get yourself into a regular sleeping pattern as this wil help, before going to sleep have a warm realxing bath with lavender fragrances (corny i know but it works), have a drink of warm milk with sugar (this works by raising your temperature then as you gradually cool down it tires you out)
avoid alcohol and caffeine get yourself sleeping properly at least 8 hours a night at a sensible time for about a week and you should recover from this if not see a doctor as you could have an underlying medical condition that may require a specialist to diagnose what is the cause

i don't think its too much to worry about as you sound as though you lead a fairly healthy life except for your sleeping patterns (and we've all been there believe me) but seriously if it doesn't sort tself in a week (following my advice) see a doctor

take care and good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Assuming that you are not sexually active, which is the only way you can say you are definitely not pregnant, since statistically, in a woman who is of childbearing age, and is sexually active, pregnancy is the commonest cause of a missed period!.!.
Firstly it is possible possible that there is no reason that you have missed a period, it does happen not infrequently!. Anxiety is often a causal factor however!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could definitely be a cause!. And both of those are stress related, so even if you feel ok there might be something underneath that you don't realize is bugging you!. But sometimes, these things just happen!. Try to relax and get a little exercise like a short walk each night!. this should help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I went thru the same thing, mine didnt come for 3 months!.!.!.then one day it finally did and i've been having all sorts of problems since!!

Maybe there's something in the water these days LOLWww@Answer-Health@Com
