Question: I dont need birth control but my mom thinks so!?
i dont want birth control because one i dont need !.!.and im still a virgin!.!.!. another reason why i dont really want it is because i heard they do a pap smear test and i heard it hurts and very umconfortable!.!.!.im scared to go!.!.!. if i go to the doctor for birth control!.!.what will they do!.!. !? what should i expect!?!.!.my mom thinks i need it just to be on the safe side but i dont want to!.!.!. by the way im 17Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pap smears really aren't that bad, but I can totally understand why you may be uncomfortable about going on birth control -- the hormones they use can definitely mess up your cycle, and there is the risk of some rather unpleasant side effects!.
Perhaps you need to talk with your mom about both her concerns and your own!. Let her know that you have no intentions of having sex at this point in your life, and reassure her that when that time comes you will be responsible!. Voice your concerns about birth control pills, and take the time to do your own research on the health risks involved in taking oral contraceptives!. Your reproductive system is a very important part of your body and you should feel comfortable with the decisions that are being made in regards to it!.

Birth control pills are not for everyone!. Try to have your mom speak with you and your GYN at the same time!. Prove to her you are aware of the consequences of having sex and that when the moment does come you will use protection!. Even with the pill a condom should be used to prevent sexually transmitted diseases!. As for the pap test it is a inevitable fact of life!. getting on the pill is a really smart thing to do!. even if ou're not having sex it is always good to be safe instead of worrying when it does happen!. A pap isn't really that bad either!. 10 mins and you're done!. don't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well if its the pill they will ask you questions about if ur a virgin and that its really good the pill because its stops cramp when your are on your periods
