Question: How old do you have to be !? 10 POINTS!?
to have an implant to get rid of your period because i hate it so much! also does it cost!? if so how much and how do they do it !?!? The implant can be taken out and it doesnt stop you having children when you are older, im 15 my period lasts 2 - 4 days and its heavy both days and then it goes and i have to have both days off school cause i cant stand it lol <3

I understand why you think you might need the implant, your pain and suffering, but they won't do it until you are at least 18 years old!.
Cost varies depending upon whether you have insurance or not!. They gave a friend of mine a sedative to insert it in her uterus!.
I personally would NOT do anything involving synthetic hormones!. You can wreck your repordicutive and endocrine systems causing you greater problems later on down the rode!.
Your doctor might have other things that can help you with your very common period problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can get treatment from your doctor for heavy periods I advise you go and see him or her or a nurse at the clinic to discuss it!. You may have a hormone problem which can be sorted!.

2 to 4 days!? you are luck-eeeee, chicky! you are also lucky to be allowed to stay home from school at that time!. most others still have to go while they just wear protection!. it's a part of normal girl life!. none of us like it lol

Periods are natural dont interfere with nature or it could cause problems for you in the future!.In another 3 years you will be officialy a woman!.Hang tight everything will be fine your not the only girl that has to go through this without implants and stuff like that!.Be strong :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will not be able to get rid of your period completely, because even on medicines such as birth controls that go about 3 months without periods, you have to take a break for a week to get your period every three months minimum!. (If you don't, your body may do "breakthrough bleeding" which is when you have period-like spotting!.)
But this might be a good option for you!. Talk to your doctor and ask!.
If you cannot get something like this, one thing you can do is to take Advil to help with cramps and headache!.!.!.and also switch to tampons, they are much less messy!. It shouldn't be so bad that you have to take off of school!. 2-4 days isn't horrible!.!.!.!.many women have periods that last up to a week, so maybe just finding out which types of tampons or pads and medicines work for you may be helpful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
