(Detailed question)Does this sound like a yeast infection or genital herpes?!

Question: (Detailed question)Does this sound like a yeast infection or genital herpes!?
I have been asking questions about this all day trying to inform myself about it, so please be patient with me!.

Ok, about 3-4 weeks ago, it started off as a small red, itchy area around the opening of my vagina!. And as the weks past on, it got larger, being red all around my vagina!. It really itches and burns sometimes!. And I have alot of discharge, sometimes clear, sometimes it is a small amount of the cottage cheese looking type(not very often)!. I'll be honest, it does stink!. It looks kinda blistered, from scratching, I THINK!. It just looks very red and sensative!. I dont have any blisters or bumps that come up from the skin, or are white or anything!. the skin of my vagina itches sometimes too!. It is very uncomfortable! Please help if you can, Im really freaked out! This is all the information that I think would help to identify it!. I know I need to go to the doctor, and I will, I just want an idea first!. Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

THis sounds like a classic yeast infection!. If you have never had a yeast infection before, you should go to your doctor for confirmation!. Sometimes when infections go on for a while, it gives a chance of the normal bacteria living in the vagina to get out of balance!. This is called a bacterial infection and it will have a fishy odor!. Yeast does not have a bad odor!. You could have a "mixed" infection with yeast and bacteria!. So, best to let a doctor check it first!. To keep you comfortable, do not scratch!. Sit is a tub of lukewarm water or blow the area with a hairdryer on low!. Keep your underwear off and wear boxer shorts or a skirt!. Let air get to the area!. You can take a Benadryl for itching!. Do not douche!.
Herpes is very painful and last 7-10 days and is gone!. It does not itch like you are describing!. Don't worry!. Just see someone today!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is NO definitive way to determine what is going on with you!. It could be a yeast infection or it could be an infection that affected the skin from scratching, or it could be something else entirely!.!.!.!.!.all of which you already have outlined!.

The fact of the matter is that until the doctor takes a look, probably takes some samples for testing and does a complete examination, there is NO way to know for sure what you have!. So -- as you have already pointed out -- you will need to see a doctor, and the sooner the better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You definitely should see a doctor!. You might have more than one thing going on - meaning both yeast infection and somethign else!.
First of all, no yeast infection lasts 3-4 weeks!. And ususally there is no redness associated!. But the discharge you describe could very well be a sign of yeast infection!.
You most definitely DEFINITELY need to see a doctor!. An infection down there that's left unreated could very easily live you infertile!. Don't play with that fire, go see someone today!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be a sever yeast infection!. I have seen a yeast infection spread out really quick on a little girl I care for without treatment and it does burn and itch and it did blister because she scratched at it!.

like you said you need to go to the hospital!. I do not think it is herpes, have you been in a sexual relationship with anyone that has herpes or possably does!? if not you have nothing to worry aboutWww@Answer-Health@Com

Crabs!. Definately crabs!. Or you have the AIDS!. Not HIV, but full blown AIDS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
