i've never tried one and the whole thing kinda weirds me out to be honest!. i suppose i should try it before making a judgement but i feel like it would be more of a mess than i want to deal with!. tampons just seem so much easier!. but if i was somewhere where i couldn't use tampons and a menstrual cup was more practical, i might consider it!. like out in the woods camping or something like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I tried the Instead SoftCups!. Unfortunately, my pelvic bone is not shaped properly and so I couldn't use it!.
I would NOT want to use a Moon Cup or Keeper, because -- unlike the Instead cups -- they stay nearer to your vaginal opening, and I don't want to have to be reminded of the whole process!.
In retrospect, I suppose I'm glad I couldn't use the Instead's!. I don't like dealing with my period anyway, and having to mess around with menstrual fluid in its most condensed form (unabsorbed by tampon/pad) is not something I would relish doing, so!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, they are very eco friendly because you wash and re-use, instead of stuffing the landfill with pads!.!.!.!. However tampons are natural fiber and biodegrate anyway, not sure how much greener we really need to be in that area! I have never tried them because one of my friends did, and told me they arent great!. They tend to "spill" when you go from sitting for awhile to standing up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, I don't want to try it for three reasons:
- I'm quite happy with tampons and pads!.
- I don't want to deal with menstrial fluid when it's not absorbed on anything
- That stuff is designed by nature to flow out!. I prefer it to flow out rather than staying in me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
