What causes the missing of periods?!


Question: What causes the missing of periods!?
I heard somewhere stress has to do with it!.!.!. I don't miss more then 1 in a row but have missed 2 in the past 6 months!? anything!? thxWww@Answer-Health@Com

if you just started having them recently your body might not have a regular schedule yet!.
this happened to me when i first had mine!.
and stress can have an effect too!.

you should see your doctor because it could be more than just stress!. If it happens once in a long time or if you are really stressed out then i could understand, but you should consider seeing a doc!. because maybe it's your hormones or some chemical reaction in the body!. And most people blame it on the stress at times it could be more than that but it could be over looked!. the best thing to do is check it out Early so if there is anything wrong then you can deal with it and it would not cause a great health hazard to your future!.

There are many things that can cause you to miss a period!. It could be anything from stress, poor nutrition (anorexia, bulimia, obesity), pregnancy, cysts, menopause, to other medical conditions such as endometriosis or poly-cystic ovarian syndrome!.

Stress DEFINITELY can cause you to miss periods, i know from experience!. so to everyone that says stress can't, i'm living proof that it can!.!. there's lots of other girls that miss their periods from stress too!.

Another factor is if you're pregnant!.!. this you're gonna have decide for yourself!. you're home free if you haven't had sex in a while!.!.

You could also just be one of those people out there that have irregular period times, like my sister!. she's perfectly healthy, but she can miss her period for 2 months, and then have it come back all of a sudden the next month!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

take a home pragnancy test!. if you're not pregnant, it could be that you are not getting enough nutrition!. if you are too underweight, you can miss periods!. stress also has something to do with it, but it should really only postpone it, not skip it!. you can go to a walk-in clinic or your doctor and they can give you a better answer and possibly a solution!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In general delay could be in following cases:
1!. pregnancy (pregnancy tests will discover);
2!. reaction to stress, illness, emotional situations, medication, inflammation of genital organs, etc!. (evaluate your life);
3!. wrong use of hormones (including pills);
4!. menstrual disorder called oligomenorrhea (duration of the cycle more than 40 days, it could be treated in many cases with birth control pills but better to visit your doctor)
