Question: Women Please Help!.!.!.Contraceptive Pills & Period!?!?
basically i have been advised to have contraceptive pills for my heavly flow!.!.!.i am not using it for sex (still a virgin :-)
what i wanted to know is, i am due to go on holiday next week and my pills are finishing so i will be started a new packet!. is that safe!? and also i heard sometimes regardless of having two packets you will still bleed but only a little!.!.!.is this true!?
i know i don't come on my period while having pills for 21 days but by having the second batch will it stop me from coming on!?

Good on you for still being a virgin :~) It really depends on the types of pills you have!. If they are 28 days straight (the one's which allow you to have a period every 4 months as opposed to monthly) then chances of you having a period are slim!. If they are the 21 day pills!.!.!.then your body has a 7-day chance of having a period (when you're taking the placebos)!. I would not reccomend taking the pills back to back!.!.!.as it may throw your cycle out of whack!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sometimes you will sometimes you won't!. Your pill may be a placebo at the end, or it may have a low-dose of hormones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd like you to be aware that if you stay on these pills, you might become infertile which people aren't aware off!. Ive seen many yahoo questions dealing with infertility after coming off birth control!.

If you are talking about skipping the pills that make you have your period and then going right into the active pills, it will keep you from getting your period!. It may cause you to have spotting though, and you can't tell how bad it will be!. I did that in the past at Christmas one year and it made me feel sick!. It may have just been me, though but I think it was the hormones,!. my body was confused even more because it was ready for me to start and I didn't !. It made me sick on my stomach!.
