How to reduce period pains?!

Question: How to reduce period pains!?
Hey!. I'm a young teenager, and right now I'm having some pretty painful period pains!.
I'm meant to be studying for a maths test I have coming up, but the pain is reducing my ability to concentrate!.
Is there any way to reduce or get rid of period pains without having to exercise or go out and by medications!?
(It's really hard to exercise when you have cramps in your abdomen, and here in Adelaide, Australia it's a public holiday, so I can't go out and get some painkillers or anything)!.
Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got really good answers, like 9 of them
And I'm still kinda cramping right now!.!.!.it's the worst of my life!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do they have YAZ in Australia or something similar!?
It's a birth control pill designed to cut down on many side effects of menstrual cycles!.

Motrin, ibuprofen, works well too, as it is different from Tylenol, not only will Motrin (also known as advil) help with pain, but it's an anti-inflammatory!.
Hot, HOT showers right on the belly help!. A heating pad or hot water bottle can be soothing!.
Yoga and stretching!.
Chamomile tea!. (trust me on this one)
Make it really strong and try not to add sugar!. Maybe a dab of honey if you must, but raw sugar is really unhealthy!.
Hot bath, hot tea!.!.
Others may have other suggestions, but take my word for it, I suffered as a teen, and I do mean suffered!.
We didn't have ibuprofen 20+ years ago!!

If you do get to the store, midol is OK, but plain ibuprofen is good!. It says to take 200mg!. but most drs!. will prescribe as much as 800mg!. With 800 tho', you do run the risk of one very upset stomach!. Start low dose, work your way up to a therapeutic amt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

FOR THIS VERY MOMENT YOU COULD TRY A HEATING PAD or hot water bottle on your tummy, BUT YOU NEED,
Midol, midol, midol !!! I couldn't live without em, I have very bad cramps and flooding unless I take it, always have!. Helps with fluid retention and moods too!. Get the maximum strength, not PMS formula! MAXIMUM STRENGTH!!!!!!!! KEEP A BOX FOR EVERY MONTH!. WHEN YOU BUY TAMPONS OR PADS MAKE SURE TO PICK UP A BOX OF MIDOL AS YOUR ROUTINE!
Noting else touches them not tylenol, ibuprofen, aleve, advil, none of the works for me!. It doesn't help with any of the other symptoms either!.!.!.Aspirin could make you bleed worse don't take anything like that!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Soak a clean small towel and squeeze out all the water!. Microwave it for a minute or two and put it where it hurts for you!. Heat takes away the pain!. It always works for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Deep breaths and a heating pad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
