Don't do it but if you deff!. are, then tell her going on the pill will regulate your periods and make your cramps a lot lighter!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no convincing needed!. Any OB/GYN will happily write you a prescription for The Pill to regulate your irregular menstrual cycle!.

The Pill is the single greatest treatment for this!. Being sexually active is not necessarily the only reason one goes on The Pill, and your doctor knows and understands that!. So feel free to ask for a prescription!.

As a sidebar, you should note that while The Pill is 98% effective when used properly, it is also subject to human error -- meaning, if you forget to take it, or fail to take it at the same time each and every day, there is a chance of an unwanted pregnancy!.

You should always "back-up" The Pill with condoms, or the Today Sponge -- especially during the first two months that you start taking it, as the hormones take time to fully get into your body!.

Good luck and I wish you well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just tell your OB-GYN your problem (want to get a birth control pill)!. all healthcare workers are bound by the HIPPA (health insurance portability and privacy act) law that all concerns regarding sexuality are not communicated to the parents of a patient even if the patient is a minor!. you are still a minor but the doctor is bound by that law!. all she can do is to give you a physical exam or lab test on what kind of birth control pills that you should use!. she may also refer you to a social worker to discuss concerns like possibility of unwanted pregnancy if the pill is not taken properly!. as it is, think a million times because the pill is not 100% effective in prevention of pregnancy and maybe your doctor will also counsel you on other methods of birth control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why does she need convincing!? It's a myth that irregular periods are cured by birth control pills, so you do have a very smart doctor, it's usually a hormone in-balance
Anyway your doctor is not allowed to talk to any one else about your care if your awake, so simply tell her you want to have sex with your boyfriend of two years and also that you don't want her to tell your mother
I once heard someone say, if your not mature enough to talk to a health professional for birth control than your not mature enough to have sex, also there are condoms!Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, until your are eighteen your parents have the right to your medical care!. You would have to wait until you are eighteen to obtain birth control pills without your parents consent!. My best advice to you would be to discuss this with your mother and tell her you are going to do it with or without the pill and if she does not want grandchildren, she needs to ok the pill, or in your case probably depoprovara shot, every three months, no pills, no or light periods as well!. highly effective as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can either say the pills your using arent working and lie about it and they might prescribe birth control!.!.!.but i wouldnt recommend doing that
if you dont want to tell your mom, you can always tell another relative or older friend, they may be able to help!.
if your talking to your ob/gyn you can always tell them that you are going to have sex and you would really appreciate b!.c!. and i dont think they would want you to get preg!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you would prefer not to tell your parents about getting on birth control, and you can afford the perscription fee, than your best bet is to go to a Planned Parenthood!. They offer confidential meetings with doctors and specialists, and are highly credited so you know you are in good hands!. They have plenty of locations so find one close to you and give them a call!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Usually if you ask the ob/gyn, they'll give it to you WITHOUT telling your parents!. Confidentiality doesn't allow it!. Also, you can get them at most county health departments ( or family planning clinics) for free-- most of them will give you a 4-5 month supply at a time!. If you go that route, they cannot legally tell your parents, and the records won't go to your other DR, either!. You will however, have to have another exam!. Please go to someplace that they'll give you some!.!.!. better safe than sorry!. Also, you have to take BC pills for over a month BEFORE they are effective!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

tell your ob/gyn the truth!. I know it may seem a bit uncomfortable but they understand!. That is their profession!. Yor mom should be able to trust you to go in and a if you as the doctor to not say anything to your mom they will respect that!. At least you are being safe!. It is better than having to go to her for prenatal care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell her your periods are really heavy and uncomfortable and you've been reading that birth control can make them lighter!. If you have acne, birth control can help control that too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

all u do is say i need birth control your mom should not be in the room at your ageWww@Answer-Health@Com

the pill IS birth controlWww@Answer-Health@Com
