Question: Tampon help (girls only please)!!?
so i have had my period for a year and last summer when i got it i used pads because my mom said she doesnt like tampons!. well my neighbors have a barbacue every weekend and we always go!. they have a pool and every time i have my period i cant go in but i really want to so i lie and tell the other kids there that i dont feel good (because most of them are boys and i dont want to be like "i have my period!") well i really dont wait to keep having to do that!. i want to start using tampons but my mom doesnt want be too ( i am thirteen) so how can i convince her to let me!. and there are really no convient stores near my house i can go to and buy them myself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im 13 too and I was recently in the same position!. Explain to your mom that you dont like lying to people when they ask why you dont want to swim!. and telll her you are ready for the responsibilty to take this on!. Let her know that you wanted to ask her first so you didnt sneak behind her back!. She will appreciate that!. Im 13 just like you too!. I havent started using tampons yet but when I do get my period Im going to start using them!.

i am 13 too and i think using tampons r waayyy betta cuase u dnt feel like ur on ur period n plusss its ur period nt hers u decide what ur gonna use pads r messy and at school if they leak the show in ur pants and u r all bloody!.
