I am a middle aged mom and I would be happy if my daughter came to me with questions about all the aspects of her becoming a young lady!. Maybe it would help your relationship if you were really honest and told her that you were confused about some things and wanted to talk!. Just be honest with her!. If she doesn't want to talk to you, then talk to an aunt, sister, cousin or school counselor!. All of us as women have gone through exactly what you're feeling now!. It's not as embarassing for us to talk about it as it is for our kids to listen and talk to us!. Kids seem to think that parents have never similar problems and they don't want to think their parents ever even think about sex!. We do have problems and we do think about and have sex - even in middle age!. It's what humans do!. The more open and honest you can be with each other about your questions, your fears and all the things that come with growing up, the better your relationship will become!. I wish you all the best and it does get easier as you get older - I promise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i went through the SAME phase a couple of years ago!. you really just need to get up your courage and approach her because she will know that you are talking about and the fact that you came to her about it will make her feel better!. it's her job as a mother to introduce you to these things!. shaving is easy!. you just need a rayzor!. ad because they can be scarry i want to let you know that periods arn't a really big deal or anything to be scared about!. their annoying as hell but they don't make your life any different!. if anything asking your mom about these life questions might help her trust you MORE because she will see that you have a sence of responisbility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can open the conversation during breakfast or dinner, by simply say "Mom, some of my friends already have period, how it starts and how should I prepare myself!?" But, seem like you don't have a good relationship with ya mom!. You can always ask your teachers or sis or even friends!. But if you are too shy, there are books and magazines that tells you how to become grown-up!. Go to the library, I bet you will find better solution there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hi, if you have alot of questions and are to shy to ask, there is a fantastic book, its called the period book, it has a black cover and is fantastic, you could ask your mum for that or even go to the library and borrow it, i have just brought it for my 11 year old daughter and it explains everything you will ever need to know, as for the bras, just ask your mumWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's not easy to talk to some mom's!. Perhaps you have an aunt you could discuss this with!. If not, the best thing is to take it easy and approach her directly!. Explain that you're body has been changing and that you no longer fit into your current bra's!. The best thing is to be confident in yourself and show that you're maturing!. By approaching this in an adult manner she will see that you're ready to be a part of the decisions in your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
