Pregnancy symptoms? Bleeding while pregnant?!

Question: Pregnancy symptoms!? Bleeding while pregnant!?
I'm very confused about symptoms of pregnancy etc!? About two and a half months ago my partner and I had sex and the condom broke, I wasn't on the pill at the time but started the day after!. I have been on the pill for two months now and am feeling sick sometimes, in the past three weeks or so I have gotten a cold twice and I feel light-headed a lot!. I stopped taking the pill to see if my period would come and I bled but only a very small amount and it wasn't 'fresh blood' but rather brown and had clots in it!. Sometimes when I have been on the pill previously it has made me feel sick but I am concerned because of the condom breaking!. I think maybe I'm being paranoid and the bleeding will get heavier, I am having the usual period cramps etc just hardly any bleeding!. Has anyone experienced this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Well, you said you took your BCPs for several weeks after having intercourse!. Did you bleed during the "white pills"!? If you bled then you are most likely not pregnant!. Stopping your pills without waiting for the month to end is not a smart practice as you're supposed to wait until the end of your pack before quitting!. It is going to take some time for your period to show back up as your system needs to get the estrogen out of it and build up pregesterone!. It can take up to two weeks to have a period after ending birth control!. The cramping you are feeling is your ovaries trying to produce the right hormones to even things out!. Your body will straighten itself out, but its going to take time!.

You can take a test, but chances are you are not pregnant!. The test will be accurate!. If it is positive, then you did the right thing!. If it is negative and you want to go back on your bcps, wait until the sunday either of your period or directly after and start a new pack!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would talk to your doctor if I were you!. Bleeding and being pregnant is NOT a good thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best advice I can give you is to see your doctor!. I have had many situations similar to yours your doctor can not only give you a urine pregnancy test, but also examine your pelvic area and perform a blood test to verify or rule out pregnancy!. What ever you do don't ignore it!. There are many reasons that could be the cause of your bleeding!. Stopping your pills could cause changes in your periods!. I personally sometimes miss periods when I am stressed!. I also have known women who has experienced irregular bleeding because of tumors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
