Question: Is it possible to not have your period at all while on the depo!?
ive been on the shot for a couple of years then i stoped and got it again last month april 22 and i havent gotten my period at all!. is that normal!?its said that only 1/5 women could get pregnant and im a sex-fiend lol!. so i have it almost every day, without a condom!.!.!.im alil worried but havent seen any signs of pregnancy!.!.!.so i guess thats okay right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is possible to not have your period at all on the Depo!. Usually if you have had a break in your shots, they will do a urine pregnancy test before giving you the shot to make sure that you are not pregnant!. If they did that, and then gave you the shot, you should be fine!.
One thing to know about Depo-Provera is that it leaches the calcium from your bones!. So, you should not be on the shots for longer than two years, and you should take calcium supplements when you are on it (to protect your bones for when you are older)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had alot of problems on the Depo shot like excessive bleeding!.!.I think the shot is great birth control but some women have alot of side effects and dont think its worth it!.!.My doctor said some women it takes a year or more for their bodies to adjust to it!.!.You can go to the Depo Provera website and get answers or call 1- 866-554-3376!.!.Call and talk to a nurse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
