Answers:
it is possible that birth control could be the reasons for your discomfort!.

Birth control increase your risk of gettin infections down there because of change of the pH levels!.

&& eventho you've been on 10 months; that does't mean that it is not due to the birth control!.

Maybe you just have a bit of an overload of bacteria down there!.!. not enough to cause an infection!.!. but enough to be uncomfortable!.&& that combined with you pills can cause irritation!.

That would explain why you have been on for 10 months && just started feeling symptoms!.

Theres not really much you can due; except talk to your doctor about trying different pills possibly!.!. to find the one that is right for you!

I've been on the pill for 2 years; at first I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo; but I changed in September to Yasmine!.

trying different brands of pills is completely normal!.

Also; if it is itchy && dry; try avoiding scented products down there (like soaps; bubble bath; gels; washes; lotions; pads; tampons; etc!.) since using scent ANYTHING down there; can cause infections (like a Yeast; Bacterial Vaginosis; etc!.)!.

&& try eating a lot of yogurt!.
Yogurt kills bacteria down there && can relieve the pain!.

Hope I helped! =)
&& good luck girly ?Www@Answer-Health@Com
