What's with the PMS?!

Question: What's with the PMS!?
I am 28 and I've always had a slight problem with PMS!. Some months are better than others, the worst months I have horrible mood swings where I either start crying at the drop of a hat, or I'm aggitated to the point where I want to scream at people over the smallest things!. Yesterday for instance, my sister called me like 4 times in an hour and I had to REALLY restrain from telling her to quit bugging me with her petty problems!. Which is so unlike me, as I am always there to help my sisters, and would never want one of them to feel like they couldn't come to me with a problem!.

Anyway, do any of you experience this!? I know that there is probably very little I can do for it, but I'm curious if other women experience this and how you all deal with it!.

Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I experience PMS every month!. Sometimes I'm moody, sometimes I'm downright mean, sometimes I'm crying because I see an SPCA commercial on TV (*cry* those poor little kitties!), and sometimes I get insatiable hunger cravings!. You can take over-the-counter PMS medications or just cope with it like I do, which means limiting interaction with others as much as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah I'm the same way!. You might want to make sure your hormones are inbalance!.

If it bothers you that much sometimes the pill can help out!.

I try to do exercise and just relax (hot shower, massage, chocolate) if not I let people know that it isn't the best time to bother me and when I feel better I will get back with them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I tend to be a little bit snappish and my homicidal tendencies do increase, but most people just assume I'm having a bad day!.

As for physical stuff, I get really bad cramps occasionally, stomach aches, headaches I tend to feel warmer than usual!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have lots of cramping, way heightened sex drive, and am very very sensitive to everything!. My period never comes on the same day, so it's sort of hard to expect when this is going to happen!. Inevitably, I'll have some horrid crisis, really want sex, and right after I am doubled over in cramps!.!.!.!.and I'm like!.!.!.!.wait a minute!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have no side effects at all, no cramping, no discomfort, no mood swings, so I can't really sympathize with you!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

B-12 I swear by it!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hear you!. I've been suffering from PMS, bad, for years now!. I'm 42, and it can wax and wane, but I get it every month, to some degree!. I'd like to research some solutions and remedies but never take the time!. I'm sure there are things that can be done with diet, exercise and medication (would be a last resort for me, taking pills) to make us feel somewhat better!. I don't cry, but I can chew people's heads off, I'm so damn irritable!. I almost can't stand just being alive, in the worst moments!. It lasts for up to a week, sometimes!.

Mostly what I do is realize what is going on and try to stay away from people/things that will push me over the edge!. Not a good strategy -- are there any better suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Many women have PMS and sometimes it is becoming a family problem!. PMS correlates with increased concentration and/or disbalance of some hormones!.
