Inserted tampon as far as it would go, but it still feels uncomfortable?!

Question: Inserted tampon as far as it would go, but it still feels uncomfortable!?
I've tried tampons (tampax pearl) and I put the applicator in untill the grip part is touching me and then I insert it, so I get it in far enough but when ever I walk I still kinda "feel" it!. I don't know if it is the string or what, but it kinda hurts on the opening too!. Is it just something I need to get used to or what!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I feel it sometimes too!. When you push the plunger make sure you hold the grip so it still touches you - so the tampon goes in even further!. I usually don't feel it anymore if i do it that way!.

You can try tucking the string in to see if that fixes the opening pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it hurts, take it out! If you've used them before and not had any trouble until now, you might have a yeast infection or something!. Also, be sure and always use the smallest size possible to keep from getting Toxic Shock Syndrome (you can read the little packet that comes in all tampon boxes) I always use "lites" or "juniors" because the bigger sizes hurt me!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could just be that you inserted it wrong!. You can always try different brands!. I dont like tampax to i use kotex!. I just find them easier to use!. You shouldnt have to force it in it should just go in but them inserting it, it should glide in!. If you feel like your forcing it in, your doing it wrong!. To be honest it really does take practice!. I dont know what you mean by opening but if you are talking about the opening of your vagina that is natural!. Its just from your hormones making the area tender!. But, really just practice and it will be easy!. Just take your time and you will get it =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

um i say that if a tampon bothers you don't use them, i have used pads since i got my first, cuz the thought of sticking something in the hole just made me cringe and i tried one for the first time a couple of weekends ago and it was an awful experience i was so happy when i got home from seeing my man cuz then i could go back to pads, and it felt so nice!. so if they're uncomfortable don't use them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be in far enough but sometimes you can insert it at the wrong angel!. Try that and insert it slow so you can feel where and when it starts feeling weird!.Also make sure ur not using a size or two to big!. That might be what makes it uncomfortable!.
I hope that helped!

Good Luck =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

every now and then the string bothers me but it never has hurt me!.
and i never feel the tampon itself in me!.
maybe it kinda depends on the size(absorbency) your useing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you too dry for the absorbency!? That can cause irritation/uncomfortable feeling!. Though struggling to try to get the hang of it might irritate things!. Or maybe it's up against the cervix!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well its ok to feel it!. Thats normal and you will get used to it!.

However its not supposed to hurt!. Maybe you put it in at the wrong angle of something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you shouldn't feel it!. Put it in straight, and make sure it's not at an angle!. If it's too big then you'll feel it so try shorter ones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if this is your first time i would try a smaller size!. Or try playtex slender!. It may help/ Sorry that this all i have for uWww@Answer-Health@Com

I was never able to comfortably wear tampons until after I lost my virginity!. Some people are just like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
