When I put in my tampon, it falls out!?!

Question: When I put in my tampon, it falls out!!?
I had my period yesterday and the pads are horrible! So, my mom is letting me try tampons!. I put it in, but it just slid right out! What should I do!? I'm afraid to push it in to far, and I don't want my mom to show me, because I think it's "private viewing"!. LOL!. THANKS!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't blame you!.!.I wouldn't want my mom helping me either!.!.lol!. As for the tampon, did you read the directions!? There is a spot in your vagina that the tampon has to reach to actually be "held in"!. If you are not pushing the tampon far enough in, it will slip out!. Don't be scared! The tampon cannot go too far in!. You won't lose it and it won't get sucked up into your body!. If you were sexually active, (you didn't mention) I would say that maybe you should try a higher absorbency (bigger) tampon, but I have a feeling you are just not putting the tampon in far enough!. When you put it in (the type with an applicator), hold the applicator by the top part, where it meets the bottom part!. Slide the applicator into your vagina until your fingers meet your outer vagina!.!.this should allow the top part of the applicator to be completely inside of your vagina and the bottom half to still be out!. Now push the bottom half of the applicator into the top half!. This will allow the tampon to slide out of the applicator altogether and you can them remove the applicator!. You will be able to see that there are now 2 applicator pieces!.!.one in side of the other!. When you were actually sliding the tampon in, you needed to hold the applicator still!.!.do not pull it out as you are pushing the lower applicator in, ok!? And also, when you were sliding the bottom applicator into the top applicator, you should have been able to feel the tampon going into place!. When you have completely removed the applicator, give the string just a small tug (don't pull hard!) and if it stays in place, you've done it correctly!. It does take a while to get used to using tampons!. I'm 30 and I still mess up once in a while and have to start over, so don't feel bad!.!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Loosely wrap the string on your finger so it doesn't get lost!. Squat down or put one foot on the toilet seat!. Put it in with a slanting backward upward movement!. You can push it a LONG way in!. It has to go past the muscle you can feel at the entrance!. If you leave it outside it will fall out, if it is only halfway it will hurt, so it has to go in deep!. The string has to hang out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will have to push it up more if it keeps slipping out!. Don't worry, you can push them up a good ways before it becomes a problem!. Just make sure the string is sticking out or you might have a problem there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

push it in girl :)
look, the way your vag is designed, there is no where it can go
aka, it cant get lost inside your body!. SO push it, it wont mess you upWww@Answer-Health@Com

You are not putting it in far enough if it keeps falling out!. Just make sure you can get at the strings when you need to change it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
