Birth control pills: if you forget several in a row, what should you do?!

Question: Birth control pills: if you forget several in a row, what should you do!?
I'm assuming that if you've missed several nights in a row, you should stop that cycle and wait for your period to come (Question 1)!. Is that dangerous (Question 2)!? I'm currently on my third week of pills and had to go out of town unexpectedly!. I didn't take the last two days, and a friend suggested that I don't try to catch up but instead just act as though this month's pills are up!. Usually I take the three weeks and my period comes mid-fourth week!. Since I'd be stopping mid-third week, does that mean my period will come this weekend as the fourth week begins (Question 3)!? Kindly try to answer all three questions!. I am very much interested in your opinions and any factual information you can give me, because I found myself overwhelmed by searching Google--there were millions of hits! Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you miss several in a row you're supposed to throw out the pack!.!.!. and begin taking a new pack all over again!.

as with when you started, it's best to start either the sunday after your period begins or the first day of your period!.

It's not dangerous that you've missed the pills!.!.!.it is dangerous to have unprotected sex because your chances of getting pregnant are increased because your body is messed up bc of the hormones!.

I believe if you miss more than 2 in a row, you need to throw out the pack, and not try to catch upWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hey hon, i don't have factual information but i believe the correct thing to do is to continue taking the pills (don't take the one's for the days you've missed and don't wait until after your next period to start to start taking them again) but wait a few days before having unprotected sex!.!.!.thats what i've done in the past and i'm still healthy and kid-free!

I can never hurt to call and advise nurse or doctors office though!.

Good luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't have unprotected sex! Consult a pharmacist, they know the best on this topic!.!.you can call anonimously to your pharmacy and ask!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's not a major problem!. You just don't take those last two pills, and experience the withdrawl bleed a bit ahead of schedule!. You can start the new pack either seven days after your last one, or you can wait until it would ordinarily have been time to start the new pack!. Your withdrawl bleed will just start a few days earlier than usual, that's all that will happen!. You aren't going to instantly ovulate or anything like that!. You will want to use some backup for this next cycle, if you have sex- just to be on the safe side!. Your period sounds like it starts about the third or fourth day after your last pill, and that's what should happen this time as well!. It may be slightly lighter than usual, but otherwise there won't be a big problem!. Fortunately the body doesn't function with hormones on such a tight schedule- so the skip of two days isn't a big difference in hormonal levels!. In the future, should you happen to forget two tablets at the beginning or middle of a pack, you can take two tablets each day for two days to get things back in sync again, usually without a problem!. If you forget three or more, then you just stop that pack, have the withdrawl bleed and start a new pack in seven days!. Not ideal, but it works fine for most ladies!. You can also skip an occasional cycle by simply starting a new pack without taking the week off!. Don't do that more than once or twice a year though- but it's a nice option for a vacation!. Good luck dear!. Just have your bleed, and start fresh in seven days if you like!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The easiest thing to do is to just stop as if this month's pills are up!. There really isn't much sense in taking the last two days that you missed at this point since it would be the end of your pack anyway!. You should have your period a few days after you stop, just as if it were the end of your pack!. This is not dangerous to do!.

Any time you miss 3 consecutive days, it is recommended that you just stop that pack and resume a week later!. If you were to miss 2 consecutive days, you are supposed to double up for next two days!. You are also supposed to use additional birth control such as condoms during this time as well!. But seeing as you are at the end of the pack anyway, it would be simplest to just stop and start a new pack after your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
