Vaginal Discharge - confusion?!

Question: Vaginal Discharge - confusion!?
Sorry in advance if this question is a little graphic but I'm just confused!?

I'm 16 and a virgin and have been on the pill for quite some time now to deal with my painful heavy periods!.
Over the past few months my discharge has changed!. I have no idea if it's to do with the pill or part of me growing up or something else!?
I have never had sex or oral!.
I know that what was normal discharge wise for me a few months ago and all the years before, was just 'clear and quite watery'!.!.But now all I get is lots of really thick white discharge especially when I'm aroused!?
Can I add, I don't itch, there's no irritation, it doesn't smell at all!.!.it basically smells of nothing!?
Also the amount of discharge has increased a lot compared to what I was having 6 months before and when I was younger!.!.!.!.I read that this happens when women are pregnant but it's impossible for me to be!.

I also read this is normal for some women but why has it changed so drastically for me!?

Please someone help :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry dear!. Your perfectly normal!. As long as there is no odor or itching (that would be a sign of infection) you're just a normal growning girl going through one of many changes to come!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, when you are aroused, your body thinks it should put out its own lube as if your going to have sex!. If otherwise your all good!. If not that, it could be from just being a girl!. Discharge changes all of the time!. You have nothing to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Glands inside your vagina and cervix make small amounts of fluid!. This fluid flows out of the vagina each day, carrying out old cells that have lined the vagina!. This is your body's way of keeping your vagina healthy and clean!. The discharge is usually clear or milky and doesn't smell bad!.

The color and thickness of the discharge change with your monthly cycle!. The discharge is thicker when you ovulate (when one of your ovaries releases an egg), when a woman is breastfeeding or when a woman is sexually excited!.

Changes that may signal a problem include an increase in the amount of discharge, a change in the color or smell of the discharge, and irritation, itchiness or burning in or around your vagina!. This is called vaginitis!. A discharge that's stained with blood when you're not having your period could also be a sign of a problem!. Some other types of infections such as yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis can also cause discharge that is usually accompanied by odor such as beer/yeast/fish!.

I would recommend that if you have any of these signs or any concerns regarding this you consult with your doctor for a proper diagnosis and for proper treatment should you have anything other than just a normal vaginal discharge!.

Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
