I used to worry a lot about tss!. But I've never got it or heard of anyone getting it so it's probably pretty rare!. Just use the right tampon for your flow amount!. It makes me feel better about wearing tampons when I alternate between pads, so maybe you can wear a pad until right before you are leaving for the lake!. And yes!.!.!.make sure you put it in right so you don't have any problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry about TSS!
Do you know how many women use tampons, and how few actually get TSS!!?
Very few!
I would say a tampon is your only hope!. You can't swim with a pad!. And no washrooms, well, that's just unfortunate!. Bring a purse or a backpack, throw some tampons in there and make them stop so that you can use a washroom!. What do you mean "they don't stop to go on land"!? Are you saying that they sit on the water for 8 hours!? Sounds silly to me!. Maybe you just shouldn't swim if there is no other option!. Throw a pad on and deal with it, I guess!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, well, first of all!.!. I doubt you would get TSS from keeping a tampon in longer ONE time!. That's not really how it works!. If you put one in right when you left and changed it right when you got home, I'm sure you'd be fine!. If you felt sick and were barfing with a fever and everything when you got home, then go to a doctor, but honestly I doubt that'd happen!. You could also bring a bag and just like act like you're "peeing" in the bushes and then grab your tampon out and change it mid-day at like 3 pm!. But you can't use your pad in the water!. It won't absorb blood because it'll have already reached full absorbancy from the water!. And by don't stop to go on land!.!.!. What exactly do you mean!? You'll be on a boat!? If worse comes to worse, tell your parent or chaperone about your problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmm!. that is a problem cuz u wont be able to change ur tampon unless u went in the bushes or something which i highly doubt u wud do! are u sure ull stay there til 8!?!? is this with ur school!? the only way u can wear a tampon is if ull be able to change it every 8 hrs!.

sorry i wasnt of much help!. if this is with ur fam im sure u cud change ur tampon behind a towel or even wear a pad and shorts in the water then change as soon as u come out!. even if u leak no one wud see anything in the lake water! and it wouldnt be all over ur legs when u come out cuz itll be all washed away!.

if its with friends or school i guess ull have to sit it out =(

im sure u wont be the only one who 'doesnt like swimming in lakes' or 'has an ear infection' ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would just use the largest tampon possible so it will last longer, i dont know waht tss is but i wouldnt worry about leaking if u need to change it u could bring another tampo and make an excuse to go to the car and change it after 3 or four hours but u want to wear a tampon and bring orre tampons then u think ull use trust meWww@Answer-Health@Com

I would wear a really good tampon!. And just try not to think about it!. However just make sure it dont fill up with water so it push out!. That happened to me one time!. Just dont open up your legs to much where water's gonna get up there!. As for tss you should be ok hun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
