Question: What tampons are better "EMERGENCY"!?
I am going to a water park tommorow!. I got me period 2 days ago!. This is my first time using a tampon!. Which one should I use!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Plastic applicators are smoother, and a junior or a slender will be more comfortable too for first-timers!. Just remember that they are smaller and don't absorb as much, so check it often!.
Tampons are NOT "bad", and toxic shock is so rare now that most doctors won't even see a case of it during their entire medical careers!. If you don't want to be running to the bathroom all the time, you can try something like a Diva cup, Mooncup, Keeper cup or other menstrual cup (there are many on the market)!. You loose the TSS risk and only have to clean it twice a day!. Just be sure to get the right size (there are pre and post vaginal childbirth sizes)!. These products last for about 10 years and you will never end up in the bathroom with no protection and no change!. The can be a little hard to use at first, but you'll get the hang of it and be glad you did!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Tampax pearl!. They are very comfortable and provide great protection!. Just get the regular absorbency unless your period is REALLY heavy!. Have fun at the water park!
No offense to pura_ros!.!.!.!. but they aren't bad for you unless you leave them in for extended periods of time (like 12 + hours) All I use are tampons and I have never had a problem!. And once its inside you, it will make no difference that you're in the water as far as what absorbency you need!.!.!.!.so base that solely on the flow of your period!. But do be sure to change it every 4-6 hours or so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I love the Tampax Pearl!. I get very heavy periods every month, and I find that those are the best for maximum protection!. They are awesome, and if this is your first time using them, I can tell you that they are so easy to use, and go in so easily because of the plastic applicator!. Tampons are all bad, they can give you Toxic shock sindrome! However a water park is a must so buy a well known brand like: Tampax, buy a high absorbency (because you will be wadding in water) and change it often, I mean OFTEN!Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends on how heavy your flow is, and what type you prefer!. I use Playtex Sport and it works pretty well!. Look at the flow chart on the box to see if you should get regular size, Super, or even bigger!. Just be sure to change your tampon every 4 hours or so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
