Friend missed 5 periods in a row, What's wrong?!

Question: Friend missed 5 periods in a row, What's wrong!?
My friend started her period around January 6th, 2008 (it was fairly light) & hasn't had one since!.
She was molested if that has anything to do with anything!.!.!.I don't know if that defines her as sexually active since it was against her will!. But other then that she hasn't done anything that has to do with sex!.
She's 13 about 5'8 I suppose and I'd say 145lbs!.
She plays competetive soccer --- but took a break this year because she wants to be a softball pitcher now!.
She works out 3 times a week!.!.!. but not exsessivly!. Just to stay in shape because she's not invovled in any sport at this particular time!.
It can't be stress because she's pretty content with her life right now!.
She has no idea what's wrong!. Should she wait it out or see a doctor asap!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
being molested is not being sexually active!
shes tall for 13, or maybe i was just short!
theres nothing wrong with her, i skimmed through your question, and to let you know it sounds like she recently started!.!.!. she not prego or anthing like that! periods can be irregular for a long time! it could take like 2 years for it to get regular!. and theres nothing she needs to worry about, shes really healthy and thats what should matter right now!.!.!.!. its totally normal to have random periods before they become regular! i used to get mine like every two months, then every two weeks, and it was so stressful, because i just wished that it would just even out!. but theres nothing to be concerned about, its normal, and before she knows it it'll be there! and if its a serious concern the best thing for her to do is to consult it with her mother or a family woman that has been through this to help her figure out the best way to handle it!.!.!. she doesnt need to be put on the pill (which helps with the periods) nor is she at a maximum age for concern about not getting her period!. tell her to hang in there, everything is fine and normal!
hope i helpedWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes periods do weird things when they start!. When was she molested!? If she was molested since she started her period, she needs to see a doctor ASAP, since she could be pregnant!. She should see a gynecologist anyway so she can be checked for STD's and have a pap smear done!. I would recommend that she go ASAP, because she has been molested!. I don't think that there is anything seriously wrong with not having a period since then, since she only had the one period, but I do think that it needs medical attention!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If she was molested (meaning someone had sex with her) in February, then she may be pregnant!

However, since she is so young, I'm guessing that she has only had periods for less than two years, which means that periods may be irregular during this time!.

She should definitely talk to someone, if not her parents, then at least to a doctor or a school counselor!. Good for you for looking out for her and caring about her!Www@Answer-Health@Com

wow seems you know this girl pretty well
right down to the details of her last period
its okay if this is your problem!.
whatever, anyway!.
have you considered that it could be stress from the molestation!?
even so, its normal for a young girl to have irregular periods and it takes years for it to form a pattern!.
even so, you should see a doctor because 5 is a bit much
i mean *your friend!.
well wish her luck for me! xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well you seem to know quite a lot about this "friend" :P

At 13 a girl probably going to be irregular, but 5 months is too much!. She should see a doctor, definitely!.

By the way no, that wouldn't be considered sexually active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She isn't ovulating at the moment!. This may sort itself out with time, but if it doesn't her doctor may prescribe the pill to get her periods going again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

see a docter or free linic asap!. take a pregnancy test(which arent always accurate) but still go to the docter!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
