Has anyone tried the birth control pill Yaz?!
Question: Has anyone tried the birth control pill Yaz!?
I really don't want the pill for the actual reason, i just wanted to try it because i heard it's good for cramps and other stuff, like clearing acne and shorter lighter periods!. Also how old do you have to be to get this!? IS it perscription only!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Last first: ALL hormonal contraceptives are by prescription only!. You can be of any age to have it prescribed, but most doctors will require that you submit to an annual pelvic exam in order to renew your prescription!.
Yaz was NOT good for me, and there have been a lot of reports of unpleasant side effects as well!.
With me, I cramped ALL month long, although my periods stopped entirely!.
I got WORSE acne; in fact I never had a zit in my life, but with Yaz I looked like a teenage horror!.
I had MISERABLE headaches!.
My sex drive (even though you're currently not interested) dropped to ZERO!.
And it damaged my kidneys!.
There are a LOT of other good tried & true pills on the market that don't cause as much harm as Yaz and Yasmin; I'd recommend asking about one of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A few of my friends have gotten pregnant while on Yaz!. I'd research its effectiveness!. As far as I know, it is prescription only!. A more effective one I'd recommend that gives you the same results is Ortho-Tricyclen LoWww@Answer-Health@Com
