I've had my period for about two years now and i'm getting used to it and all!.
what i'm concerned about is that I've only been using pads and I'm tooo afraid to use a tampon!.
just the thought of it grosses me out!.
i know it's a little immature but is it normal to not use tampons!?!? is there anyone out there who doesn't use tampons!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not wanting to use tampons is a very normal thing!. There are people out there who actually cant use them!. I used pads for like the first 5 years of having my period and then I wanted to use a tampon and see what the big deal was, and i instantly fell in love with them!. I was afraid at first because I am the only one in my family who can use them and I wasn't sure about them!. I am just really glad that I use tampons now!.

yes, it is perfectly normal to not use tampons!. if you are not ready to use them, then don't!. i rarely use tampons, the only time you ever need them is when you go swimming!. tampons are a little cleaner, but if you aren't comfortable using them then go right on using pads!. there's nothing wrong with that!. good luck!. :]Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends on you and what you like, since you dont know how they feel or if you like them I will give you a few sites where you can get samples from :beinggirl!.com, mighty!.small!.com, playtex!.com, kotex!.com you can try them out for yourself from all of the top brands of tampons to see if you are ok with them! i'v had my period for about six months and the thought of tampons grosses me out too!! hahaa - its the same with ALL my friends, we all think it sounds gross!! and kinda sore!!! but everyone says they work like a dream !.!.

Yes, that's normal!. Plenty of people don't use them!. I can name about 10 that I know!. And it doesn't matter if everyone else is doing it, you need to do what's right for your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
