My vagina/vulva itch..??? (quite embarrassing)?!

Question: My vagina/vulva itch!.!.!?!?!? (quite embarrassing)!?
I just finished a long dose of Antibiotcs for a UTI!. But I finished them about 5 days ago!. And now just yesterday I started getting a kinda sore, itchy vulva and around the entrance of my vagina a bit!. One side feels worse than the other!. I don't know if the antibiotics have caused me to have a yeast infection or not!. I do not have any discharge at all!. And no smell!. Just kinda!.!.!.dry!.!.itchy feeling!. I took the first dose of a yeast infection medication (in pill form prescribed for a "just incase you get a yeast infection")!.

Also at work on monday, our air conditioner stopped working over the weekend so it was HOT! I was sweating at work all day and my pants were sticking to me!. Could this be some kind of heat irritation!? I do have a doctors appt on Monday, but I'd like to have some peice of mind!. This is driving me crazy!. Anything I can do for it!?!? Is cortizone cream okay to use!?!? I know it says you can put it on your genitals, but I want to know if it's a good idea or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Ok, you most deffinetely have a yeast infection!.
One of the main causes of yeast infections are uses of antibiotics because you take away all the good bacteria you need "down there"!.
go to the docs, and get perscribed a one dose pill if its your first time!.!. sounds like it is!.

Buy vagisil cream for the itch, works wonders

I woudln't suggest cortisone because it can thin your skin , seriously go for the vagisil, its made especially for your vulva!.
and you'll have it for whenever you need it another time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Antibiotics are a great thing!.!.!.!.right!? of course!. but antibiotics aren't specific enough to centralize on one bacteria and can kill the healthy bacteria that keeps your girlie parts happy!. When this bacteria isnt there it can cause an overgrowth of bad bacteria (yeast) and give you an infection!. Chances are you have a yeast infection but just on capsule wouldnt cure it!. You need the full cycle of the treatment to get the full effects!. More so, not using the full cycle of the treatment can cause disease resistant bacteria!Www@Answer-Health@Com

This sounds like a yeast infection!. Many times after taking antibiotics many women get yeast infections!. Symptoms include itchiness, discharge, burning when peeing, vaginal odor!. Also to prevent yeast infections change out of wet clothing, showering after exercising!. But if you were sweaty this causes a moist environment which is a breeding ground for yeast!. I would not recommend cortisone cream!. But try vagisil wipes to relive itchiness!. I would stop taking the OTC medicine and wait to see the doctor!. Most likely you will only need to take one pill Flagyl!. Caution do not drink if prescribed this! See a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
