im deathly scared of the doctors!.
i am 13, and i have to have a check up for school and stuff!.

If you're getting a physical it's not going to be bad at all!.!.!.!.I had to have MANY to play high school sports!. They're going to take your height and weight, make you pee in a cup to check your protein level and see if you drink enough water (which isn't as bad as you'd think, other than that it's awkward to hand them a warm cup O pee! lol), then they'll usually make you lay down so they can poke around your stomache to feel your ovaries, sometimes check your spine!.!.!.!.!.that's all!. Relax, already! The more tense you are, the more scary it will be!. But the truth is that the doctors are there to make sure you are healthy!. Why be scared of that!?
If it's a certain doctor you don't like - then tell your parents to see if you can get another doctor you're more comfortable with!.!.!.!.!.but there is no reason to be scared!. They will just check to make sure that your organs are working right as well as your blood pressure!.
Just Relax and you will be just fine!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

When I had a check up they did the normal things, but what I found weird was my doctor [was a woman] checked to see if I had any pubic hair growth!. More than likely to check my growth status in puberty, but check ups are NEVER as bad as you think they will be!. And if you're truly freaked out, ask your mom!. THEN ask the nurse who checks your height, THEN ask the doctor themselves!. They'll reassure you, and help calm you down if your nerves are still bothering you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
hahah u are young!. ur actually supposed to say "dont be IMMATURE" dont be scared!. if its the check yp ur supposed to get b4 u enter junior high, dont worry, they're just checkin ur spine to make sure u dont have a crooked spine usually at that age caused by backpacks!. they'll check ur heart rate, ur weight, simple stuff i highly doubt they will do a breast exam as the other guy said!. ur too young i dont think they will touch ur boobsWww@Answer-Health@Com

the doc checks your ears, eyes, throat, back, knees, heart rate and temperature!. Nothing hurts
you may get a shot for immunization but thats quick and easy!. A little pinch!.
He shouldnt draw blood on a check up!. And dont listen to the guys on here!. The doc will not touch your boobs or anything else private!. Thats a different doctor which is called an OBGYN!. you will need to see that doctor when you are around age 18
