well I think you should start off with the smaller tampons, such as playtex sports!. Make sure you read the directions and know that your vagina will not go straight up, but closer to your back!. You could also try Playtex compact, which are even smaller, if you are scared that it will be too big!. Also it wont get stuck as long as you leave it in there long enough, normally around 3-6 hours!. Make sure you dont leave it in longer than 8 though, or you could get TSS, which wouldnt be good!. I have heard that some people are scared that the string is going to break!. Just check it before you put it in and if it is attached then its fine!. It is stiched on and there is hardly a way that you can break it!. I would start with something with applicators though, not cardboard applicators!. Make sure that they are plastic because cardboard hurts!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

there is nothing be be scared about!. tampons are a great alternative to pads!. it will not get stuck either! just read the directions that come in the tampon box, and relax when your putting it in - it seems hard at first, but it isnt

and practice makes perfect!!

personal experience of being afraid of and using tampons

it will be find just gently place it in, use the instructions, try a mirror if your not afraid of what it'll look like!.
i assure you it won't get stuck!. if you have a light flow use light flow ones trust me on this!. only take it out once it's fairly wet or else it might hurt a tad but only for a second!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know exactly how you feel! I didn't start wearing tampons, until 4 years after I got my period, because I was to scared to put one in! lol The most important thing is to relax while your inserting it!. If your tense then it's not going to work!. I actually had to use a mirror my first few times, because I wanted to make sure I was putting it in the correct place!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons r nothing to be afraid of!. Im sure it will be uncomfortable to use them at first since u r a virgin!. For me they r a lot better then pads!. And they wont get stuck unless u use them on a lighter day!. U have to let them absorb a lot otherwise it will be uncomfortable to take out!. I hope this helps u!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
