There's an old wive's tale that eating bananas helps!. I think there's some merit to that, because bananas have potassium, which can help with cramping!.
A hot water bottle can also work wonders!

I used to have the worst menstral craps that just got worse and worse to the point I could even move!. I took an herb called licorish root, you can buy it in caspules from a health food store!. I had a naturopath muscle test me to tell me how many I needed to take each day and for how long!. I did that and haven't had a singe cramp in years! Hot bath, mild exercise, eating bananas, heating pad!. All those are good ways to deal with cramps!. Stay away from caffeine, because that will make them worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
