It can be dangerous to get too much iron, and if you're breastfeeding, the extra iron can get passed to the baby and cause problems!. Check into seeing if there is a free clinic around your area!. Also, call your doctor's office and see if they can help you with a discount for a visit if you're feeling bad!. I was without insurance for a while, and my primary care doctor gave me massive discounts!. Good doctors want to help, and are willing to work with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Judging by the flesh colored eyelids I would say you are iron deficient!. I would start taking them again but be sure that you are getting plenty of fiber in your diet and that you drink a lot of water or you may get constipated!. You may want to take the iron every other day instead of daily or get yourself some over the counter one a day vitamins with iron and take as directed!. Taking the iron won't harm you as long as you don't take more than the amount indicated for your age on the bottle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

From personal experience, I was anemic b4 pregnancy and my dr told me that while I am pregnant that iron will be twice a day and after the baby is born 2cut back 2taking it once a day!. I experienced the same symptoms that ur experiencing now b4 I got pregnant and I was told it was because of my iron levels and not getting enough rest!. Since u have no insurance I would suggest finding a free clinic and take the iron once a day for a few days and monitor how ur feeling!. Make sure ur getting enough rest and if u start taking the iron again be sure ur drinking lots of water and add fiber 2ur diet 2help with the constipation!. I wish u the best!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The light headedness you describe could be from the tiredness!. Are you napping when the baby sleeps!?
Are you sleeping throughout the night!? does the baby!?
How's your diet!? Is there a reason you might be anemic!? Dark, bloody stools for instance!.
You could try taking them but without a blood test there is no way to be sure!. better off going to a Free Clinic in your area to find out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
