okay!. so last satruday i kissed this boy!. it was just on the lips no tongue or anything!. then on tuesday a friend of mine told me that she heard he has herpes!.
now, there is a yellowish like, canker sore looking thing on my lip!. f*ck my life is it herpes!.
is there ANY way to get rid of it, i don't care if i have to burn my lip off, just tell me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A cold sore is caused by the herpes virus!. The question is, is it herpes simplex 1 or 2!. Simplex 1 is just regular cold sores, and something like 95% of the population has it!. Not the STD version!. Simplex 2 is the STD strain of herpes, but it can be transmitted orally, say if he had oral sex with a girl who had it, he could get it on his mouth and then pass it to someone through a kiss!. Most of the time a sore on the mouth is simplex 1!. Abreva will get rid of the sore!. But if you're concerned, you can always talk to your doctor about it!. Just don't kiss anyone when you have a sore on your mouth, and absolutely no oral sex when you have a sore on your mouth either!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yup, fraid so =(!. Good news is that its not sexually transmitted and it will go away in a few days if you don't touch it!. If you're concerned about it go to the doctor!. For the moment, look around the internet for a few things to do about it!.

it comes and goes, you just have to be careful not to makeout with anyone when u feel a sore coming on, or have one!. it can be treated with abreva!. Many people refer to them as "fever blisters" to make themselve feel better, but they're all herps!. Treat em as soon as u feel em coming on and they shouldn't last more than a few days!. Make sure to use SPF on your lips when you're in the sun it can irritate them!.!.!.!.

Slow down !.!.!. you may have caught a cold sore!. yes it is the same virus as herpes but a different strain!. you ought to ask the boy if he knows if he has the virus! and don't worry, may feel like the end of the world but it's not!. there are many over the counter medications that can help heal it faster!. not to mention you can go to your dr!. (make sure it's a cold sore) and he/she can prescribe an oral tablet to help prevent breakouts! did this boy have an open sore!? cuz i'm not sure you can catch cold sores unless there is an active sore!. i may be wrong!. stay away from foods/liquids high in acid like OJ, grapefruit, cranberry and eat healthy low sugar foods, no coffee or caffeine products and you should be able to slow down how often you get a cold sore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
