Most girls get their period when they are in the 7th or 8th grade!. It's alright if you are late!. Some girls don't get it until high school!. It all has to do with your genes, you weight, or if you are athletic!.
And by the way, at ten years old, that is really early!. That's like 4th or 5th grade!. It's alright if she is that early, but she could just be saying that for attention!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

depends on your genes!. if your mom got it around 12 or 13 then you will probably get it around then!. also depends if you play sports
i know this girl whos mom got it at 12 and she got it at 15 because she plays alot of sports
also it is something you want because it shows you are growing up

You usually get your period 2 years after you begin developing breasts!.
And it's not awful!. Yeah, it's annoying and sometimes pretty painful, but it;s really beautiful and natural and means you're a woman :)

Don't worry if your late, this happens to most people actually, the latest time to have periods is 15, if its over that, well, don't worry, I am 14 yrs old and I still did'nt pass puberty!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i got mine when i was 15!. anything from 12-18 is normal!. 10 is very unusual and i would think she should have seen her doctor about it!. as for not wanting it!? well its not nice but it happens to us all and in time you just deal with it!. its part of being a woman!!! A lot of girls have different ages when they get their periods!. It is part of growing up and everyone will eventually get it, most usually get it from 12-14 but some people are more special and may get it earlier!. Who knows!? Just let it come when it comes :oWww@Answer-Health@Com
