You should always use a tampon to match your flow!.

I honestly just use a regular strength through my whole period!.
I guess it depends on how you measure "heavy"!. If it's actually really heavy, you could use regular or super, and use regular or light on the light days!. But you're supposed to use the least absorbancy possible!. I would only use a super if I filled up a regular every two hours or less!.
So!.!.!. to be honest, I'd only use different strengths if my period varied greatly between heaviness!. Maybe yours does!. Mine is typically the same for the first 5 days and then barely any one the last day or two!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you could wear the same absorbency but it would hurt more to take it out when it's light
they have boxes of tampons with a variety of different sizes so you could buy those
or wear a tampon for the heavy days and then wear a pad for the lighter days

You need a different tampon!. Wearing one that is too absorbent for your flow could cause you to develop TSS, or Toxic Shock Syndrome!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
