Ok, I'm on my period and just went to the bathroom to change my tampon and I can't find it! I am almost positive that I had one in, but I've had a lot on my mind today, so there is a small chance that last time I went to change it, I took it out and just forgot to put another one in!. Like I said though, I am almost positive that I had one in!. I have been in the bathroom for at least ten minutes trying to retrieve it with no luck!. Is it possible that it went so far up that I can't reach it!? I have never lost one like that before, what the heck should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most likly you forgot you took it out!. I did that twice on my last period!. Usaly if you can't find it by puching down like you have a bowl movment with your figure up there its not there!. But if you do start to smell I would go seee the doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is very rare that a tampon can go too far in!. But if that is the case, or if you can't find the string then you need to relax and take a deep breath and try to find it with your finger(s)!. If it's there but you can't get it out then I'd see a doctor ASAP!.

You could not have pushed it in too far!. Your cervix would be blocking it and you would have had alot of pain/discomfort if you tried to push it past the cervix!. Generally, the vagina is 5 inches or so deep!. You still should be able to feel the string on the tampon!.
I recommend asking mom to help!. If there is one in there, you don't want to wait too long to get it out cuz you could develop TSS(Toxic Shock Syndrome)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First retrace all of your steps and think really hard about what happened wit the tampon and try to see if you can find it

Wash your hands, squat and reach one finger up and feel around Your cervix(which you feel way up inside at the end) will stop foreign objects from travelling too far up!. if you dont feel the tampon but you feel your cervix chances are you don't have a tampon in!. Do you feel it!? Then if you can't find it, you shouldn't worry!.
If you are concerned, I recommend you tell someone, no matter what!.

There really is nowhere for it to go, it's a little area that you could feel around, it can't go up further because your cervix is there! you probably just forgot to put another 1 in!Www@Answer-Health@Com
it cant go up to far there is a little i dont know what you call it but it stops it if you put your finger like on the hole and maybe push up a little it you have to you will feel it so just tryWww@Answer-Health@Com
