Answers:
Talk to a pharmacist!.
Tell him/her everything you told us!.
But I think you should really see a
physician about this!. A simple blood
test will tell the tale!.

Probably ferrous sulphate OTC
for exteme anemia!.
Otherwise any good multi-vitamin
with iron should be enough!.

Here is a list of some foods high in iron :
Liver and other meats
Seafood
Dried fruits like apricots, prunes and raisins
Nuts
Beans, especially lima beans
Green leafy vegetables, such as spinach and broccoli
Blackstrap molasses
Whole grains

And here are 2 sites with some good info about anemia
and about the foods and supplements that can help!.

I've anemic for 40 years!. If you have heavy periods, you can become more anemic, family heredity also plays a big part in anemia, women of medditerian decent are more anemic!. Find some iron rich foods and take some iron pills and a multivitamin!. You may have low blood sugar, drink some orange juice when you get up in the morning!. Go get a physical and explain your symptoms to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if she wont take you find an adult who will or even tell her say "mom it would really help me out if you would take me to the doctors just incase im scared and i would like to know the truth and if i am or not by a professional please" And if she doesnt find a growen up you trust to or even go to your school nurseWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, you need vitamins with IRON (Fe)!. Most vitamin companies make a variety-some with calcium, iron, vitamin C!. If things get any worse try a vitamin like iron supplement called SlowFe!. It's available at most major drugstores and slowly releases additional iron throughout the day!. Whatever you do, get a blood test and get your iron level under control-it can lead to blacking out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's really probably not much to freak out about, you probably should see a doctor and get on an iron supplement!. You should be taking a multi-vitamin anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm anemic or atleast I was but you should see your docter because I was never as weak as you but there are things you can do if you are anemic!.!.!.like taking vitmians!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you yopur self beive it start eating more carbolhydrates and calories!. Try taking more vitamins in your diet and eat more fruits and veggies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well unless your under 16 or 18(depending where you live) go to the doctor yourself, cause unless your mother is a doctor go and see one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

see a doctor to confirm itWww@Answer-Health@Com

Have you told her about your symptoms!? Have you been known to be somewhat of a hypocondriac or cry wolf before!? I have a daughter who is a bit of a drama queen so I am just asking!. If you sat her down and told her why you were concerned, and told her the symptoms and not a specific about what you thought it was, maybe she would be more open to taking you to the doctor!. When you try to diagnose yourself, then it becomes a question of how much did you read on the internet, and how much is real!? It's very simple to read something online or in a book, then begin to worry about the symptoms!. I would sit down and talk to her about why you know these symptoms, and really have a heart to heart talk!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hope that you told her all that about how you feel!? That seems strange to me that your mom thinks she's a doctor and can diagnose what your blood is doing just by looking at you!. That's a great gift she's got!. You need to really push the issue with her!. Your health is so important, especially if you're a vegetarian!. I'm assuming you're still in school, otherwise you could go get yourself checked out!. If you are, talk to the nurse at school about it too, after you talk to your mom again!. I don't want you getting your mom into trouble if she's just a little ignorant about the situation!. I'm sure she's not purposely neglecting you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The diagnosis of anemia doesn't require that you go to a hospital!. All you have to do is get a blood test done through your personal physician!. Let your mom know that you would really like to know how to eat more healthy and that you will be willing to listen to a nutritionist or follow your doctor's recommendations!. She will then be more likely to schedule an appointment and you can not only get the blood test, but get information about a healthy eating plan for yourself!.

Not eating properly now will GREATLY increase your likelyhood of major health problems both now and in the future!. Do yourself a favor and take care of the only body you will ever get!.

First of all you can't just become a vegan without doing your reasearch, that is how you become low in iron which is what you obviously have!. You must start to change your diet, eat more green veggies, legumes, lentils beans, tofu all that have iron!. Go to the Dr but I"m sure that they will tell you to change your diet either do your research and get proper neutriants or don't become a vegan, it's hard work to think about what you must eat to give yourself the required neutriants!. Your body is starving that is why your dizzy weak!.

You said yourself that you eat terribly if you don't like veggies or beans and tofu then maybe it's time to change your diet and include some fish and chicken if you don't want to eat red meat!. You can find vegaterian receips from the internet and you can learn to cook it yourself that wy your guaranteed to get all the vitamind and minteral your body desperatly needs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why did she show you the site on anemia but then not go to a doctor to find out if you are!? Maybe she was trying to scare you into eating healthier!.

Nonetheless, it's common for young women to be anemic!. This is due to lack of protein and iron!.

If your mom won't take you to a doctor, go to your school nurse for more help!. (I want to point out that you don't have to go to the hospital, you can go to a walk-in clinic or a family doctor to see a general practioner!. Much cheaper!. The doctor's visit can be around $100 and blood tests are cheap! only around $20, look in phone books to call and ask!. Hospitals are only for emergencies- expect high bills, over $1,000!.)

Your mom is there to help you, so if you are making this up in your head, she might be the 1st person to be able to tell you it is just in your head, in which case don't worry, but if it bothers you still, take iron vitamin supplements or find a way to eat iron more in foods, i!.e!. eggs, whole grains, leafy greans!. Check nutrition labels and tally up to see if you are meeting daily requirements!.

Otherwise, as you admit it, you eat terribly, so improve on that, then if you still feel this way after a month worry about seeing a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
