Question: A contraception question!?
I am in a loving relationship with my boyfriend of 8 months!. We are both in our mid-twenties and feel like our relationship is for keeps!. We are both free of STIs after we decided to get checked by a doctor!. I'm on dianette for my skin and contraception and recently we have just been relying on this for birth control!. Although we are thinking of spending the rest of our lives together, we are definitely not ready for a baby!. Is it risky just relying on dianette!? We have a lot of sex and I'm scared of the pregnacy risks!. In previous relationships I have always used condoms!. Any advice would be helpful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

From what I read online, Dianette seems to be perfectly safe both purposes!. As long as you take it around the same time each day and have no unusual circumstances (vomiting, diarrhea, etc!. which could remove the pill from the body before absorbing) it is an effective form of birth control even during the "off week"!. Why can't you use condoms even if you are in a loving relationship that will be "forever"!? Birth control isn't 100% effective so unless you want a baby!.!.!.back up isn't a bad idea!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
