Question: I found a lump in my breast!.!.!.Only 23 years old!?
On Saturday I discovered a lump in my breast!. It's about the size of a kidney bean and very firm and defined!. I am only 23, so I don't think the chances are high of it being cancer, but I'm just wondering if any young women have had similar instances!? I will be going to the doc to check it out, but I just got married, so I have to wait to get my marriage license, since I'm on my husband's insurance!. It'll probably be about 2 weeks before I have to go in!.
I have to admit, I'm stressing a little, so I'm just wondering what ELSE it could be!. I've done a little research, but just wondering if any of you out there have experienced something like this and what it was!.!.!.

1] get a copy of the marraige license or certificate - you need to be seen soon!. Call the insurance company and tell them why you need to see a doc!.
2] I had this at 17! Turned out to be a fibroadenoma [ benign lump ]!.

i'm 24 and my doctor found a lump! she told me to self monitor it because it was most likely where you get lumps around the time of your period which is exactly what it turned out to be!. i just can't remember the name of what it's called though!.

A water cyst can move around!.!.!. But, a fiberistic cyst sounds more like what you're talking about!. I know how you're feeling, I just went through it!.
I got my ultrasound done and everything is fine!. It may be from the amount of caffeine you have!. All I can say is talk to a doctor, and I would tell you not to worry, but I know deep down you will!.!.!. I did!. You could have a cyst in your breast!. Those are very common!. The doctor will perform a biopsy and test the lump, whatever it is, for cancer!. You're very young, and if you don't have an incidence of cancer in either side of your family, then there's no reason to stress quite yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It could be a lympth node!.But then again it could be cancer!.Just because you are 23 does not meen you could not have cancer,Babies get cancer,Age does not matter!.I suggest you go in for a Mammogram ASAP even if you have to pay for it,The soon the better,IF it is cancer the sooner you catch it the better results you will have!.Good Luck and congrats on your up coming wedding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My sister had a cyst about the same size when she was your age!. They removed it and she was fine!. I wouldn't worry too much about it!. If it stresses you out too much, go to the doctor to ease your mind, but ask the doctor if it's ok to wait a couple weeks to run the tests!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A cyst - a lot of women get them!. Don't worry until you have something to worry about!. Worrying won't accomplish anything!. I had a benign cyst in my breast- it showed up on the mammogram!. I have felt many "lumps" in my breasts that turned out to be nothing!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can get cancer whatever your age, dont think your risks are low just because you are young, children can get cancer just as much as easy as aldults!.

It is possible that it is nothing to worry about!. But, breast cancer is a very serious issue!. You should go to the doctor as soon as you can, to see what further steps need to be taken to find out what's going on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well my mom had breast cancer and she thought it was just a bruise from us wrestlin but she went to the doctor and sure enough it was breast cancer just pray about and go to the doctor as soon as u get ur marriage license cuz that can go into a deeper stage of cancerWww@Answer-Health@Com
not to worry you, but breast cancer is just as common, if not more common in woman in their 20's and 30's, compared to woman over 45!.

Where exactly is it!? If it's close to the armpit, it may also be a swollen lymph node, but it's good that you plan to see a doctor!.

i thought that would be the end of it but at 21 i found another!. i'd learned from my first experience not to panic!. luckily it was also not cancerous!.
it is very low risk for somebody our age to fall ill with breast cancer!. it is more than likely a cyst!.
check round your family and see if its heredatory!.

Well lets not freak you out!. It could be a clogged mammory gland!. There is no such thing as too young for cancer or other female health problems!. Go to your OB/Gyne!. Generally they copp a feel find the problem and address your concerns!. If it sounds like a problem they send you in for an ultrasound and a mammogram!. Most of the time as a percaution they send you to a breast surgeon!. He then copps a feel, reviews your films from the tests you've had done!. I had my first ultrasound at 26!. I have had 2 more since!. They have been fine everytime!. I am lucky!. I hope you will be too! Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
