Depends on how much you want to lose!. The "norm" healthy amount for weight loss is two pounds per week!.
However, most people lose more like 5 or so in the first week of dieting!.
If you need to just lose water retention, or lose a few pounds, try going low carb for a week, or trying the slim fast diet, (for me it's two shakes and a healthy veggie/lean meat meal in the evening!. This plus LOTS of water can help you shed some initial pounds in a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can't lose significant weight in a week but you can lose a little!. All you have to do is make sure you eat a healthy breakfast, walk a few miles or go biking every day and Make sure you don't start snacking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
