Question: IS there something wrong!?!?
Hi I'venoticed a change in my periods!.!. Then gone from last 3 to 5 day with very little pain to begin all over the place begin very heavy causing me allot of pain and last anywhere from a day to a week!.
I'm 41 would my ages have anything to do with this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are at the age when some women begin to experience peri-menopausal symptoms!. Unfortunately for us (I am 41 also), our periods at this stage do tend to change and be rather erratic and unpredictable!.
If you are getting signs of very heavy bleeding (soaking through a pad or tampon in one hour or less), dizziness or lightheadedness, or abdominal pain that is uncontrolled with Tylenol or Ibuprofen, then you should see your GYN care provider!. You should also continue to have yearly exams with your GYN care provider and let him/her know about these changes!. They can do simple blood tests to let them know your hormone levels!.

I'd say you are nearing menopause, sweetie!. It can get all crazy toward the end and sometimes women will get false positive pregnancy readings, etc!. They can also think they are in menopause and still get pregnant, so watch out!. That's called a Change Of Life baby!. Probably because the mother's life changes, all right!. She probably kills herself when she finds out she's pregnant, lol!.
On a serious note, other more serious disorders can come on with age, so if I were you I'd go to see your gyno just to be on the safe side!. If it IS something worrisome, the earilier they catch it the better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ya , ur near menopause , or suffering hormonal disbalence, if ur period is irregular than u have to investigate , ur doctor can explain why but do't take it's easyWww@Answer-Health@Com
