I'm 13 and I didn't get my period yet!. Can you girls give me your stories to see what it's like!? (make them long please not just "it came" or something like that)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was 9 and I thought that there was something wrong with me!. So I hid my underpants and I would cry!. I finally told my mom that something was wrong, and she told me what it was!. I cried and cried until my dad came in my room and said, "I remember when I got my first period!.!.!." That made me laugh and then I was okay after that!. But you literally just get it!. It just starts coming one day - and then your life isn't the same after that!. Cherish this time of not having to worry about whether or not you have tampons in your purse, cramps, and craving chocolate covered pickles!. Getting your period really isn't a big deal, and it doesn't hurt or anything!. You get used to it, and every month you come to expect it and know what your body needs you to do in order to make yourself more comfortable (such as wearing sweat pants and eating ice cream in bed ) hehe!. Well my when my period came it was a afternoon, i was 13, outside playing with my cousins and i felt something coming down my vagina then my stomach started hurting didnt pay it no attention until i went to use the bathroom to pee and noticed blood in my panties!. Since my two cousins who were 1 year older than me had already got their periods i asked them what to do so they gave me a pad!. then it was time to tell my grandmother (RIP 'Mam' :`( ) since she was like my mother and took care of me and had me since i was baby!. she was so happy and excited 4 me which i thought was so odd and weird!. She then gave me a pill to help with the pain and in about an hour every1 in my family well females only knew my friend rose finally came, a bit embarrassing but i like how close every1 is in my family then there was the talk about boys AGAIN!Www@Answer-Health@Com
You might note get it for a while yet!. I was 14 before I took mine however everyone is different as my step daughter was 11 when she took hers!.
The only thing I remember is I went to the bathroom and there it was, there had been no warning and I didnt really experience any pain until it came which is still the same now I dont get pain until after it comes!.
It will come eventually but I wouldnt worry if it takes a bit longer as its not a very pleasant thing to have but I know if everyone else has taken theirs you will want to be the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll get it in time!. I got mine when I was 12!. For the first couple of cycles it is usually light, and if you don't come on every month like people say is average, don't worry, it takes time to adjust!. You'll know when you have started because your stomach will most likely feel weird, like empty kind of thing but your not hungry!. And also, you'll have blood on your pants!. You don't always get period pains but you sometimes do, like I have at the moment!. If you do get them take some form of medicine, e!.g!. paracetamol!. Remember to change your pad/tampon not longer than every 5 hours, depending on how heavy your on!. And also remember, if you use a tampon to remember to change it because if you don't you could get TSS (Toxic shock syndrome) which is a fatal illness!.

When i was sleeping over my bff's house, she went to change into her bathing suit first!. Then so did i but before i did i looked in the toilet!. and i saw blood on the paper!. then i told Sabrina if she had her period yet!. and she said no!. so then she went into the kitchen to tell her grandma crying because she was scared that from that point on she could get pregnant!!!!
but its all OK execpt that she doesn't have parents!.(mom died , dad left)!. And now she has to go to new york to live with her aunt and uncle !.
she also told me that if i didn't have that habit of looking in the toilet then she would have noticed that she got her period!.!!!\
this happened at 4:38 pm and also on the 8th of June she got it!.
she made me put it on my Cell phone's calendar!. lol

Well, if your trying to figure out how to spot the signs that it's coming, I started a week before my 13th birthday!. I had bad pains in my stomach before I had it and I had been to a restaurant for dinner before it!. I thought maybe it was a bug or food poisoning and I was shocked when I discovered what it was!. I think it's because I was niave and thought I would be 14/15 before I started!. I have been on the pill recently to control my periods because they have always been heavy and very painful!. This could be due to the fact that I was heavy before and then lost a lot of weight so don't worry about it!. It will begin when you ready!.

For me it sucked!. I was not a very happy girl for a few day then it started!. It was really heavy (meaning lots and lots of blood) and my cramps were really bad!. Had to take some pain killers and lay down!. It lasted about a week!. After that it didn't come back for a few months and when it did It wasn't as bad!. Mind you that this was how it was for me!. Lots of my friends had better experiences!. Really light and just not that bad!. Good luck should be coming your way soon!. Be glad your body let you go this long without one!! I was about 12-13! I was asleep in my mums room and when i woke up and went to the loo i had a little bit of blood, the tinyest bit you would ever see, and i thought i had something majorly wrong with me, but when i spoke to my mum and friend they advised me on what to wear and 'what not'!!!! well i was only 11 when i got mine and they all happen at different times no1 is the same sometimes its really heavy and sometimes its light you will feel it a bit its as if you have peed your self as horrid as that is just star carrying pads and tampons round with you and if i was you i would use tampons first they are so much hygienic xoxoxWww@Answer-Health@Com
I got mine when I was 13, a few months before I turned 14!. I actually don't remember what my period was like in the beginning but I remember that when I first had it, there was only a bit of blood & no cramping!. Thankfully I get cramps only 3-4 times a year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it just starts hun, there is nothing to worry about!.
It wont be heavy so you will see the blood and know when you have started!.
