Question: What to do when you are on your period yet have no pads or tampons!?
I've been in this situation a few times myself,and it is pretty nerve racking!.!.I'm always afraid I'll get blood on my pants!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

before there were pads and tampons, women tore up old clothes or sheets and made their own "pads" so find an old towel, make you some pads, put some saran wrap at the bottom somehow to keep it from going through!. necessity is the mother of invention!. got a diaper handy, or if you are out in public lots and lots of toilet paper, and paper towels!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well my first question to you is, why do you not have a pad or tampon!?
- is it because you can not afford them!?
- because you have irregular periods, and therefore unaware of when you will get your periods!?
Either way, toilet paper can sometimes save you!. Depending on how heavy your periods are, normally if you get some toilet paper, and fold it over about 5 times so it forms a "pad"!. That might last you untill you get home!.
I have been in this situation many times!. I have since learnt, ask any girl that is near you!. I have asked a few girls in toilets, and every girl i have ever asked has been more then willing to share there pads/tampons with me!. Its not that embarrasing really!. Every girl goes through it, and we all panic about not having something with us at the time!.
Imagine if someone came up to you and asked you if you had a tampon/pad!. I am sure you would feel her pain, and give her one of yours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

most public rest rooms have tampon or pad dispensers!. I would also recommend that you carry one or better yet two or three in your purse!.!.!.they have little cases to put them in so it is not that obvious!.!.!.!.!.!.you never know when you or possibly one of your friends will need one!. you could also use toilet paper, tissues or even a napkin or two in a pinch!.!.!.!.it would be better though to carry some at all times!.!.!.!.just in case!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think we all have had such a emergency!. Make a pad out of a thick folds of toilet paper about size of pad, or use papertowels,,,, If concerned about leak through put a piece plastic wrap between pantie and pad!. BUT dont allow paper towels to flush as may clog!. Will have to dispose same as a pad!.,, but dont let it flush either!.

rolled up toilet paper can work as a pad for a little bit, until you can get to one!. not for too long though!. i usually just ask any girl around me, even if i don't know her!. a lot of girls are more than willing to give you a pad or tamponWww@Answer-Health@Com
all you can really do is use toilet paper!.fold it over and over to make a temporary pad!.not the best of options but better than nothing!.maybe you could also try cutting up an old bath towel!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My friend started at my house and she didn't want my mom to know so she just wrapped toilet paper around her underware really thick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i roll up LOADS of tissue and im afraid ill leak but never do!. the tissue actually does a great job!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
