Question: Nicotine patch itching!?
I just started the patch this morning and my arm is itching like crazy in the area I placed the patch!. I almost want to take it off!.!. Is this normal and will it go away!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take it off hon!. Same thing happened to me and it was an allergic reaction!. I ended up with a rash all down my arm!. Some people just react that way to them!. My doctor told me that normally it wouldn't itch at all, so if you react like that to it straight away, it means you're allergic!. Apparently it's not uncommon!.

This is normal, but if it becomes so bad you can't stand it, you are having an alergic reaction to the patch!. Try something different like gums, or see your doctor for chantix (not sure about the spelling) I know people that have used that and have had great sucess!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
not normal, remove it immediately!.!. you could have an allergy or sensitive to one of the chemicas in it!.!. contact your pharmacist or health professional for more advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
