I've never had a preference, I can even use the cheapie dollar store ones!. JUst make sue you lather up good, with a bath poff or body wash if you can, scrub your legs upwards to get the hairs standing up as much as possible, shave after you shower so the hair is nice a soft, and glide the razor ankle to knee - you don't have to use pressure at all, just gently glide it, and rinse the blade after each swipe!. I get an awesomely smooth shave everytime!.

You can safely use a man's safety razor easily; just don't press hard when gliding over your skin!. Use any men's shaving cream!. I say "men's", because it's a lot cheaper than women's, but not any better!. Electric shavers work; they cost a lot; not better!. After shaving, moisten the skin & apply a gentle body-moisturizer!. Don't be afraid; almost everyone is at first!. Don't be afraid to talk with Mom; she's been through it all!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I Highly reccommend the new venus razor with the huge moisture strip around it, you wont need to use much shaving cream, just about a golf ball size, the way it conforms to your curves with the moving head, and the three razors make sure you get the hair the first time and don't have to repeat sections (less cutting)!. Make sure to watch out and go especially slow around your ANKLES and KNEE CAPS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Anything will do as long as you're careful!. I'm sure you will be, since using something that sharp is nerve-wracking the first time!. Some razors have wires running up and down over the blades, and those help keep you from cutting yourself!. It's not foolproof, but it decreases the accidents!.

you an intuision (or however u spell it) razor!. You don't have to use shaving cream with it because surrounding the razor is soap, it works really well!. Try it they r greta, and you don't have to mess with shaving cream! Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
