well i was taking the pill that you go off only four times a year - and yes it is right it can affect your fertility as the doc told me but only if you do it for prolonged periods!I also had the implant and the injection!.!.!.tried everything as get terrible pains and faint!.!.!.but if possible try going off everything as i have done now - these things pump hormones in your body and can make you moody and grumpy - - - if its for sex then use condoms or you could get a coil that only releases hormones around the lower area of your body!!! im going off on one as have had no choice but to try everything due to the pains -------- best thing to do is go to family planning clinic and they will tell you all the options and you can find one better than the pill that will stop your periods for longer!.!.!.hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

while i dont believe it is recommended, i have done similar many many times and experienced no problems!. even fell pregnant 2 months after stopping birth control!.!. im sure its not good to do it all the time!. as you need to bleed eventually to get rid of some of your iron stores, but other then that i had no problems!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. by doing that the pill would have VERY LITTLE effectiveness!.
2!. it may screw up your hormones so much that you may have a VERY difficult time getting pregnant!.

If you want to not have a period, ask your doctor about that new pill that only gives you your period 4 times a year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its fine to do it but you when you do stop taking the pill you should stop for the whole week not just a few days!. the girl that posted before this is wrong it wont affect your fertility its perfectly safe to do thisWww@Answer-Health@Com
