Ok so i got my period a few days ago and i went swimming on yesterday and wore a tampon!. So i was planning on changing it after 6 or 7 hours but i was sooo busy having fun that i completely forgot about it!!! So the next time i looked at the clock it had been 10 hours and i know that the longest you should ever have it in is 8 hours so i rushed to change it!!!!! I am really scared that i will get sick or something!.

Its very unlikely here are the symptoms of TSS:
Severe flu-like symptoms, such as muscle aches and pains, stomach cramps, a headache, or a sore throat!.
Sudden fever over 102 F!.
Vomiting and diarrhea!.
Signs of shock, including low blood pressure and rapid heartbeat, often with lightheadedness, fainting, nausea, vomiting, or restlessness and confusion!.
A rash that looks like a sunburn!. The rash can be over several areas of your body or just in specific places such as the armpits or the groin!.
Pain at the site of an infection (if a wound or injury to the skin is involved)!.
Redness in the nasal passages and inside the mouth!.

oh no no oney don't worry about it it won't effect you greatly unless you leave it in for a whole day, [24 hours[
that's how i do it, 10 hours then switch, i habven't gotten TSS yet, and that's one of my biggest fears!. Don't worry about getting sick, but don't leave it in any longer that 11 hours!. just for your body's sakeWww@Answer-Health@Com

well doing that is definately putting urself at risk for tss but it does not necessarily mean that u will get it!.!.heres a list of symptoms
