Question: Question about depo birth control!?
I'm on the depo shot, and I know that it's 99% affective, but I'm sort of paranoid that the injection didn't work!. I have been on the shot for almost 6 months now and I've been spotting from the very beginning, if I continue spotting that's a sign that it's working right!? (I have never spotted before the shot and my doctor says it's normal!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, spotting is normal!. I too am on Depo and have been for a little over six months!. My doctor tells me and I have read it over and over again that spotting is a very normal and common side effect!. You may stop spotting after a while some women do!. If you spot or do not spot it isn't a sign that it is working or not working that is just a side effect!.
